PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amide wax scarcely coloring and scarcely producing malodors even when exposed to high temperatures. SOLUTION: The amide wax is obtained by a condensation reaction of an 8-30C aliphatic monocarboxylic acid with an 8-30C aliphatic monoamine compound. The amide wax has≤1 mg KOH/g acid value,≤1 mg KOH/g amine value and≤1 increase in hue according to the Gardner-Hellige method when kept at 130°C for 3 h. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
