PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic joint comprising a rubber elastic body having an improved life by suppressing a large relative displacement of a first cylinder member and a second cylinder member in an axial direction without disturbing absorption of vibration in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction, and a wheel connecting structure for a vehicle. SOLUTION: The elastic joint comprises a plurality of the first cylinder members 2 and a plurality of the second cylinder members 4 arranged around an axis O and rubber elastic members 6 connecting the first cylinder member 2 and second cylinder member 4 adjacent to each other, and is further provided with a first stopper plate 12 for suppressing displacement of the second cylinder member 4 to a driven shaft 3 side and a second stopper plate 13 for suppressing displacement of the first cylinder member 2 to a drive shaft 1 side. The first stopper plate 12 is equipped with a first opening 15 allowing the second cylinder member 14 to change its position with respect to the first cylinder member 2.
