PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a construction method of a structure, and a foundation structure suitably used for the construction method for constructing a skeleton abreast with the construction of the foundation structure. SOLUTION: The construction method of the structure comprises processes of constructing a settlement reducing pile 20 in the ground, erecting a column 40 directly above the settlement reducing pile 20 through an intermediate member 30, constructing a spread foundation 10 joined to the column 40, and constructing an upper structure (skeleton) 2 using the column 40 abreast with the process of constructing the spread foundation 10.
