PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device having a plurality of point light sources arranged in a line and preventing occurrence of variation in illuminance in a direction of the line, and a light fixing device therefor. SOLUTION: This light fixing device 19 comprises an LED array 21 having LEDs 21a-21e arranged in a main scanning direction and a transparent liquid crystal panel 26 provided to a portion facing the LED array 21. The transparent liquid crystal panel 26 is divided into a plurality of areas 26a-26y in the main scanning direction. The transparency of each of the areas 26a-26y is controlled by varying a voltage applied to each of the areas 26a-26y. Therefore, when a projection light from the LED array 21 passes through the transparent liquid crystal panel 26, the transparency of each of the areas 26a-26y is adjusted so as to achieve uniform illuminance in the main scanning direction so that it is possible to prevent occurrence of the variation in illuminance in the main scanning direction.
