PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which can carry out appropriate non-ejection detection by cleaning of a glass surface even when the glass surface of a reading part is stained and an S/N of read data is decreased. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder which has one or a plurality of inkjet recording heads of a full line type equipped with a recording element array corresponding to a width of a recording medium comprises a transfer means which transfers the recording medium, a means which prints a chart for detecting non-ejection of the recording heads onto the transfer means, and a means which has a reading means to read the detection chart and detects on the basis of the read data whether or not each nozzle of the recording heads is non-ejection.
