PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of coloration determining work on the occasion of printing a building material by using a natural material as a motif. SOLUTION: Sets of ink sets each composed of a combination of specific color inks suitable for reproducing a color region of an individual natural material are prepared and registered in advance in a storage part 120. Color correlation information for conversion into color data of a standard color system is prepared for each set of the inks in a storage part 110. When a desired material is selected out of the natural materials presented by an ink set selecting part 130, the ink set corresponding to the desired material is selected and original image data D in a storage part 140 are converted into image data S of the standard color system in a data conversion part 150 by utilizing the color correlation information of the selected set of the inks, and these data is subjected to color correction by an ICC profile in an image data output part 160 and outputted on a display 210 or by a printer 220.
