PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter mechanism which prevents cutting chips of a cutting object, produced near a cutting edge of a cutter blade under cutting operation, from clogging a gap between a hole in a bottom wall of a holder and the cutter blade inserted into the hole, or from depositing in a space inside the holder. SOLUTION: According to the cutter mechanism, cutting chips of the cutting object 50 which are produced near the cutting edge 22 of the cutting blade under cutting operation, and infiltrated into the holder 10 via the gap between the hole 12 in the holder bottom wall and the cutter blade 20 inserted into the hole, are discharged via a discharge hole 14 formed in a holder peripheral wall near the bottom surface of the holder 10, to the outside of the holder 10. Thus the cutting chips are prevented from clogging in the gap between the hole 12 in the bottom wall of the holder and the cutter blade 20 inserted into the hole, or depositing in the space inside the holder 10 supporting the cutter blade 20.
