<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor used in a scanning type site meter and capable of simply performing the cell analysis with respect to only an isolated cell. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor 1 used in the scanning type site meter is constituted so that a cell group, wherein a large number of cells are sprinkled, is scanned while irradiated with a laser beam and a fluorescent image acquired on the basis of the fluorescence emitted from the cell group is subjected to image processing to analyze the cells and equipped with a region specifying part 11 for specifying the individual closed regions emitting fluorescence within the fluorescence image as the cell region of the cell group, a cell nucleus removing part 12 for removing the data of cell nuclei in the cell region, an overlapped cell specifying part 13 for specifying the cell region wherein cells are overlapped with each other on the basis of the intensity of the fluorescence of a cytoplasma region being the cell region from which the data of the cell nuclei is removed and an analyzing image forming part 14 for forming an analyzing image wherein the data of the cell region where the cells are overlapped with each other is subtracted from the data of the fluorescence image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
