<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong an interval between apparatus maintenance treatments. <P>SOLUTION: The antifreezing fluid contains a first component and a second component. The first component is a glycol. The second component is benzene at least one of whose six hydrogen atoms is substituted with a group represented by a chemical formula: -R-OH (R is a hydrocarbon group) or a chemical formula: -O-R'-OH (R' is a hydrocarbon group) and the remainders of whose six hydrogen atoms may be substituted with one or more groups selected from a hydroxy group, hydrocarbon group and alkoxy group. Such antifreezing fluid hardly cures rubbers in contact therewith, thereby making possible to prolong the maintenance intervals of apparatuses to which the antifreezing fluid is applied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
