PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for manufacturing a toner capable of realizing formation of high quality image, and a method and equipment for manufacturing toner which exhibit high energy consumption efficiency and enable emission of carbon dioxide gas can to be controlled. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing toner includes a shape control step of performing shape control of toner particles in a passage for toner which has a shape control process region for regulating the shape of toner particles in an aqueous medium, the shape control process region being provided with two or more temperature control means capable of performing zone control.
