PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint connector with a simple structure which realizes cost reduction and eliminates fear of damage to the housing during transportation with a cover done away with. SOLUTION: The joint connector comprises a plurality of terminal fittings 2 housed in a housing 1 and a bus bar 3 inserted into the housing 1 which is engaged and contacts with the terminal fittings 2 in the housing 1 and makes each terminal fitting 2 in electrical conduction. An insertion port 4 is formed at one end side of the housing 1 on the side where the bus bar 3 is inserted, and a projected part 5 is formed at the insertion hole 4 so that the bus bar 3 may not be contacted from outside.
