PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional image display method capable of carrying out three-dimensional display of an actually taken image. SOLUTION: One two-dimensional image I(i) is selected, and one pixel P(j, k) which can be seen from a corresponding viewpoint position V(i) is selected from a plurality of pixels. A virtual plane B(i) adhered with the selected two-dimensional image is presumed, and the virtual image is arranged such that an image center point corresponding to an object center point in the two-dimensional image matches with a center point of a display screen. A virtual extension PL is presumed extending from the viewpoint position V(i) to the virtual plane B(i) through the selected one pixel P(j, k). A color on the two-dimensional image presumed to be adhered to the virtual plane B(i) corresponding to an intersection of the virtual extension PL and the virtual plane B(i) is determined as a display color of the one pixel in a direction from the one pixel to the viewpoint position.
