PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the respective terminal parts of an adapter device and a video camera device. SOLUTION: The attaching part 22 of the adapter device includes; a connector 62 provided with a connection part 62a with a camera body part 11 so as to turn toward the back side of an adapter body part 21; a cover member 63 provided with an aperture part for a connector 63a making the connector 62 face to the outside, covering over the periphery of the connector 62 and capable of sliding in the insertion direction of the camera body part 11; and a cover body 64 energized in a direction where the aperture part for a connector 63a is covered. When the camera body part 11 is inserted from the back side of the adapter body part 21, the cover member 63 is pressed by the terminal part of the camera body part 11, and slides in the insertion direction of the camera body part 11. The cover body 64 is pushed up by the periphery part of the connector 62 and exposes the connector 62 from the aperture part for a connector 63a to the outside, so that the terminal part 79a of the camera body part 11 can be electrically connected to the connector 62.
