The invention relates to a tool comprising a shaft and a blade support ( 12 ) which is disposed in a removable manner on the face of the shaft ( 10 ) and is preferably embodied as a drill bit. One end of the blade support ( 12 ) is provided with a transversal rib ( 32 ) that extends beyond an end face ( 30 ), can be inserted into an accommodating device ( 40 ) of the shaft ( 10 ), which is delimited by a planar counterface ( 62 ), and can be clamped by means of clamping screws ( 72 ). In order to ensure sufficient torque transmission even with small bore diameters, the accommodating device is provided with two entraining sections ( 64', 64 ) that are separated by means of a central gap ( 60 ), are disposed in a twofold rotationally symmetric manner relative to the tool axis ( 13 ), and protrude from the counterface ( 62 ) of the shaft ( 10 ) essentially parallel to the axis. Each entraining section ( 64',64'' ) encompasses an axially parallel entraining area ( 66', 66 ) for an adjacent transversal rib section ( 32', 32 ), which points in the direction of rotation of the shaft ( 10 ).
