An electromagnetic field distribution measuring method by which an electromagnetic field distribution can be measured by taking temporal variation of measurement values into account, an apparatus for such method, a computer program and an information recording medium are provided. An electromagnetic field distribution measuring apparatus (2) is used for measuring the electromagnetic field distribution in the vicinity of an object (1) to be measured, a signal of a prescribed time is detected at each of a plurality of measuring coordinates within a measuring plane while permitting a probe (3) to scan discretionary measuring coordinates within a prescribed measuring plane in a space in the vicinity of the object (1), and based on the measuring coordinates where the probe (3) positions and the signal detected by the probe, intensities of an electric field and a magnetic field at each measuring coordinate within the measuring plane are calculated for a prescribed time by a signal temporal waveform operation part (12). Based on the calculated intensity, distribution of an amplitude probability in the prescribed time at each measuring coordinate at the position in the vicinity of the object (1) is calculated as electromagnetic field distribution, and such distribution is displayed by mapping by an electromagnetic field distribution display section (16).
