The installation for desalination of the salt water contains: the module of the source water purification; the module of prevention of the scale formation; the group of the modules of the water heating; the starting water heater; the steam-compressor module; the evaporation modules integrated in the groups; the module of the vacuum creation and maintaining; the collection tank for gathering and refrigeration of the evaporated water. At that each of the modules of heating and evaporation is made in the form of the heat-exchange apparatus containing the active and passive loops. Each module of evaporation is supplied with the injectors mounted on the inlet of its passive loop above the active loop. At that the outlets of the heating modules are connected to the inlets of the passive loops of the first group of the modules of evaporation. The outlet of the passive loop from the first module of evaporation through the pipeline with the water gate is connected with the inlet of the passive loop of the adjacent to it module of evaporation of the first group of the modules of evaporation, and the outlet of the passive loop, which is the last in the first group of the modules of evaporation through the pipeline with the water gate is connected with the collection tank for gathering and refrigeration of the evaporated water, which is connected with the passive loops of the second group of the modules of evaporation, which through the additionally evaporated in them water are connected in series through the pipelines with the water gates among themselves. At that the outlet of the passive loop of the last in the second group module of evaporation is connected with the inlets of the active loops of the first group of the modules of the water heating, which outlets are connected by pipelines with the collector for gathering and a utilization of the evaporated water. A that the inlet of the active loop of the first module of evaporation in the first group of the modules of evaporation is connected through the compressed steam with an outlet of the module of the steam compressor, and the inlets of the active loops of all the remaining modules of evaporation through the formed in their passive loops the secondary steam are in series connected accordingly with outlets of the passive loops of the previous modules of evaporation. The active loops of all the modules of evaporation through the distillate are connected by the pipelines with water gates for the sequential distillate cross-flowing from the first module of evaporation in the following modules of evaporation. At that the outlet of the active loop of the last module of evaporation through the distillate is connected with the inlets of the active loops of the second group of the modules of the water heating, the outlets of which are connected through the distillate with the collection tank. The active loop of the first module of evaporation in the first group of the modules of evaporation through the incondensable gases is connected with the module of the vacuum formation and maintaining, and the outlet of the active loop of each of the remaining modules of evaporation through the incondensable gases is connected with the passive loop of the subsequent module of the incondensable gases is connected with the. The installation is used for realization of the method of the water desalination.
