<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that provides smoking cessation support for a smoker who wants to quit smoking. <P>SOLUTION: The smoking cessation support device has at least an arithmetic unit, a display part and an operation part, and when a program is started, displays a message discouraging a smoking desire. Smoking desires of those who are trying to quit smoking are known not to be steadily constant but to grow temporarily. When a smoking desire grows, the person who is trying to quit smoking operates the operation part 1 to request a message.
