PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use the external output of musical piece data externally inputted while protecting the right by individually controlling the external output for music.
SOLUTION: When the captured musical piece data is/is not an object for protection, the device generates entry data setting a copyright flag CRF at '1'/'0' and has the entry data stored in a (corresponding) flash memory 21 together with the musical piece data. When musical piece data is selected and an external output indication is made, it is judged that the copyright needs not be protected on condition that the copyright flag CRF corresponding to the musical data is '0', and the data is outputted by uploading to an external device through a communication I/F 14 or copying to an FD 24. When CRF is '1', on the other hand, it is judged that the copyright needs to be protected, an output inhibition message is displayed, and external output is inhibited.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
