PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car body rear part structure, capable of preventing jumping of a jack mounted at a car body rear part into a cabin when a vehicle is hit at the rear end while securing the workability of putting in/out the jack. SOLUTION: This car body rear part structure is provided with a jack support part for supporting the jack on a floor panel at the car body rear part in such a way that the length direction of the jack coincides with the car body longitudinal direction. It is provided with a cross member extended in the car width direction, disposed on the floor panel ahead of the jack supported in the jack support part. The cross member has such height as to restrict the jack from moving forward when the vehicle is hit at the rear end, and a vertical wall part having a part facing a forward end of the jack.
