PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor unit capable of preventing contamination due to residual samples while suppressing the prolongation of measuring time and cost increases. SOLUTION: The sensor unit 14 is constituted of an approximately flat sensor chip 20 having translucency; a metal film 21 formed in the upper surface of the sensor chip 20; and a channel member 22 to be in contact with the sensor chip 20 in such a way as to cover the metal film 21. A channel 24 for feeding a liquid is formed in the channel member 22, and the channel 24 and the metal film 21 are opposed to each other when the channel member 22 is fixed to the sensor chip 20 by engaging claws 20a and engaging grooves 22a. The channel 24 is constituted of a groove part 25; an injection part 26; and a discharge part 27 and can have a simplified shape than a channel to be incorporated in the apparatus. It is thereby possible to shorten the length of the channel 24, reduce the frequency of occurrences of residual samples in the channel 24, and suppress contamination due to the residual samples.
