<p>Waste heat utilization device has Calcius-ranking-cycle (30A) which consists of heating device (34) for heating working fluid circulated through pump (33) by means of waste heat of heat engine (10), to convert working fluid in steam, expansion device (21) for generating driving power by means of expansion of steam from heating device and condenser (22) for condensing steam from expansion device. Calcius-ranking-cycle has control system (40) for controlling operation of Calcius-ranking-cycle. In a case when temperature of waste heat of heat engine is higher than a predetermined temperature, the control system computes an optimal heat collecting quantity (Qho), which is to be collected by the heat engine and which is correlated with a radiant heat quantity (Qc) of the condenser in an operating condition of the waste heat utilization device at a time. The control system controls a flow quantity of working fluid, for collecting optimal heat collecting quantity, in such a way that the drive power, which is defined by an actual heat quantity and a radiant heat quantity is efficiently generated at the expansion device.</p> |
