The device has variable color display units (16) for displaying the temperature of a heat accumulator. Different levels (17) are provided in the accumulator, so that respective coloring of the representation in the display units is a measure for the temperature in the corresponding level. The units have LEDs for emitting lights of different colors, and are controlled based on the acquired temperature with variable intensities.
