FIELD: agricultural engineering; grain harvesters. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed grain harvester hopper housing with neck and two covers hinge-mounted on neck. Each cover of neck is provided with two side sections with longitudinal slot and cover plate. Side sections of covers are mater by means of longitudinal slots and axles-synchronizers. Cover plates of slots are arranged at opposite sides of mated sectors. Axle-synchronizer is essentially a rod. Ring is rigidly secured at one side of rod. Rod is provided from other side with plain washer and hole for cotter pin to lock the washer. Distance between inner surfaces of ring and washer exceeds thickness of two sections and two cover plates. ^ EFFECT: provision of reliable operation of charging device at increased useful capacity of hopper and prevention of grain spilling owing to use of covers with side sectors mated through longitudinal slots and axles-synchronizers. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg
