<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable circulation type biological deodorization apparatus capable of coping with fluctuation of the load of a gas to be processed and efficiently removing malodor components in the gas to be processed, by inhibiting localization of the load of the gas to be processed (malodor components) to microorganisms in a processing area where the gas should be processed. SOLUTION: The biological deodorization apparatus includes a first plate stacking area 11; a second plate stacking area 12; a gas flow passage forming mechanism 3 forming a gas flow passage 2 such that after passing through the first stacking area 11 in a direction parallel to the stacking direction of plate-shaped carriers 1, the gas to be processed passes through the second plate stacking area 12 in a direction parallel to the stacking direction of the plate-shaped carriers 1; a first plate-shaped carrier transfer means 21; and a second plate-shaped carrier transfer means 22. The plurality of plate-shaped carriers 1 are sequentially transferred from the first plate stacking area 11 to the second plate stacking area 12 and then from the second stacking area 12 to the first plate stacking area 11 to circulate the plate-shaped carriers 1 to thereby deal with fluctuation of the load of the gas to be processed.</p> |
