The driver (1) is supported by a unit (40) with sleeves for gripping nuts and screws forming the driver-unit connection. An installation for carrying out maintenance work on a driver for moving a control rod in and out of a nuclear reactor comprises a support unit for engaging with the underside of the driver. The unit comprises a primary sleeve for gripping a central nut forming part the unit-driver connection and a number of secondary sleeves for gripping with the other screws and nuts forming this connection. |
