<p>An apparatus (1) for heating or cooking in bain-marie, comprising a vessel (2) partially filled with water (3), containers or bowls, arranged inside the vessel (2) to hold food to be heated/cooked in bain-marie, and at least one heating electric plate (4) arranged outside the vessel (2) in contact therewith. The plate (4) has a cast iron layer (5) that fits into a hollow (10) defined by the vessel (2), the surface of such a hollow (10) being convex towards the outside of the vessel (2), to guarantee maximum contact with the plate (4).</p> |
