PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterway flowing in/out object monitoring device where the measurement of the detection and flow-in/out degree of a jellyfish which flows into and out of a waterway is realized by a simple picture processing method. SOLUTION: An average value reduction processing is executed as against given picture data by a block size which is set by an average value reduction processing part 4, a space filter processing part 6 executes a filter processing, a pixel with large difference between the peripheral and adjacent pixel and a variable density value is emphasized and a jellyfish part is embossed. A binarizing part 8 executes a binary processing and jellyfish number in a picture is measured by the in-screen detecting object number measuring part 9 of a succeeding stage. In the meantime, only variable density value data of a prescribed line in space filter processing picture data is stored in a time space picture storing portion 12, the stored picture data is binarized by the binarizing part 13 and a passage number measurement processing part 14 measures the quantity of detection objects which pass through on the selected line within a set time. An alarm processing part 16 outputs alarm based on data which is measured by the both measuring parts. |
