The headlight has an elliptical module with a lens (4) located inside a case, a source (2) generating light and a reflector (3) to reflect the light towards the lens. A cover (7) with a base plate (15) and a tube (16) surrounds a gap (5) between the reflector and the lens. The cover defines a wall with inlets (10-12) which stop the light emitted in their direction by the source and allow fresh air circulation by convection in the cover.
