<p>The filter (10), comprising a filter medium (12) connected to a backing layer (14) with at least one flat air channeling wall (16, 20) with a specified degree of rigidity, has a sealing layer (24, 26) joined to the rigid channeling wall by a thermal weld without the use of added material. The filter medium is connected to the channeling wall in a similar manner, and the minimal height of the rigid channeling wall is greater than the maximum height of the sealing layer. The thermal welding procedure is selected from mirror, infrared and ultrasound welding.</p> |
