<p>A handle 2 for a cricket bat comprises a substantially cylindrical core having a splice end adapted to be joined to a blade to thereby form a cricket bat. The handle is provided with a jacket or surface layer 12, which is provided with a plurality of sinusoidal undulations 13 arranged on its outer surface, which undulations are adapted, in use, to dampen vibrations caused by a ball hitting the cricket bat.</p> |
