A silencer of discharge gas noise of combustion engine has body with front and back end walls, the inlet and the outlet perforated nipples placed in parallel one with respect to another, working chambers formed by partitions, each of those includes the central and the adjoining it flow-through transverse face with opening in its central part, through this the inlet or the outlet nipple goes, two peripheral faces and no-go transverse face, at that the no-go transverse faces of the partitions are placed at opposite ends of the body. The inner section of each of the nipples going through the flow-through transverse face is arranged with oval cross-section, the middle section of the nipples placed between the no-go transverse face and the end wall is made with varying cross section, this changes from oval to circle being the cross-section of the third section of the nipple going through the end wall; at that each no-go transverse face is deflected from the end wall by side adjoining the central face of the partition, and the nipples are directed in such way that in plane to which the axes of both nipples belong dimension of transverse cross section of the inner section is smaller than the dimension of the other sections of the nipples.
