Known telecommunications systems comprise telecommunication nodes such as base stations that are adjusted by selecting so-called standard values for the parameters, which on average result in fair settings for the telecommunication nodes, but which, depending on the situation, sometimes result in settings for each separate node that are far from ideal. The incorporation into the telecommunication system of a processor device for the purpose of calculating parameters as a function of an administrative signal and a signal relating to a neighbouring node enables the processor to calculate parameters for each telecommunication node that result in a considerably improved adjustment of the telecommunication node in question. In this manner, the many (20 to 100) parameters required for adjusting a telecommunication node can be calculated by using a so-called tool that is based on administrative signals and signals relating to neighbouring nodes. Furthermore, the parameters preferably depend on measuring result signals relating to the telecommunication node in question. |
