The method for diagnosing the morphotype of kidney hilum comprises the qualitative assessment according to the parameters of height and width of kidney hilum. The generalized standardized quantitative coefficient of the morphotype of kidney hilum is calculated. RV < 0,95 is indicative of the horizontal morphotype of kidney hilum, RV > 1,05 is indicative of the vertical morphotype, RV within 0.95-1.05 range points to the intermediate morphotype ofkidney hilum.
