METHOD OF MAGNETIC SEPARATION

A method of magnetic separation includes the supply of primary material to the surface of rotating separator drum, displacement of primary material in magnetically stable field by rotating drum, separation of nonmagnetic particles by joint action of gravitational and centrifugal forces with their delivery in the receiver of nonmagnetic particles, displacement of magnetic particles by drum to the place of unloading into the receiver of magnetic particles. In the section between the line of separation of nonmagnetic particles from the drum to the receiver of nonmagnetic particles the flow of nonmagnetic particles is subjected to the action of deflecting magnetic field, by which magnetic inclusions of the flow of nonmagnetic particles are carried into the additional receiver.
