The method for decreasing the emotional tension in treating the separation distress provides for the medicamentous therapy and the complex of psychological rehabilitation measures. The treatment and rehabilitation programs comprise three stages: recovery, readaptation, and rehabilitation. The psychiatrist, the psychotherapist, the psychologist, the pedagogue, and the social service officer are involved in the realization of the programs dependingon the stage of its implementation.
