A METHOD FOR OBTAINING ACTIVATED PEAT FOR PALLETIZING IRON ORE MATERIALS

A method for obtaining activated peat for palletizing iron ore materials involves treatment of peat layer with activator in mixing, forming pile with height of 0.4-0.6 from 4-5 layers of peat and keeping the peat in the pile during 24-48 hours. Prior to treatment with activator milling peat is enclosed to the pile and kept during 6-12 months, thereafter ash percentage of peat is determined and peat layers are treated with activator at a ratio of content of activator and peat ash of respectively 1.0:(2.0-5.0) % by weight.
