The melting furnace for neutralization of toxic substances had closed thermo-stable body with cavity separated to connected to each other melting chamber and chamber of pyrolytic decomposition of substances being neutralized in the melt of suitable mineral or artificial mineral-like material, at least one unit for loading mineral base for formation of melt and the substances being neutralized to the furnace, mounted on the cover of the body; at least one immersed gas-oxygen burner, this is placed in the bottom section of the melting chamber and serves as heat source for preparing and support of fluidity of the melt, at least one burner for afterburning of gaseous products of pyrolytic decomposition (pyro-gas), this is connected to the window for discharge of those from the chamber for pyrolytic decomposition; tap hole, this is placed in the bottom section of the body and serves for removal of melt from the furnace, and channel for combustion products discharge to atmosphere. Additionally the furnace is equipped with practically vertical fire-proof partition made of suitable gas-impermeable material, this is rigidly and hermetically fixed with respect to the upper section of the body and has lower window and upper window for circulation of melt between the melting chamber and the chamber for pyrolytic decomposition. The appliance for loading mineral base for formation of melt isarranged as hatch in the cover of the melting chamber, and for loading substances being neutralized separate unit is provided, this is installed in the cover of the chamber for pyrolytic decomposition.
