METHOD FOR DETECTING SINGLE-PHASE GROUND SHORT CIRCUIT IN A CABLE MULTIWIRE LINE OF AN ALTERNATING-CURRENT ISOLATED NEUTRAL SYSTEM

摘要

The proposed method for detecting single-phase ground short circuit in a cable multiwire line of an alternating-current isolated neutral system consists in measuring zero-sequence currents in the cables of the line, comparing the current values, and detecting the faulty cable as the cable in which the zero-sequence current is the most distinctive from the zero-sequence currents in the other cables.
