A method for the purification of aqueous solutions of nickel ions involves contact with the solution of alkaline reagent and isolation of deposit from aqueous solution by sedimentation. The solution containing nickel (II) salts is treated with aqueous solution of ammonium humites preliminarily transferred into humic acids by acidulation.
