The proposed device for friction tests of materials for disks of friction clutches contains a holder, at which the ring-shaped material samples would be installed, a unit for loading the samples, and a unit for measuring friction force and recording the measurement data. For the tests, the ring-shaped samples are used that have stepped cross-section.
