The method involves determining an orientation angle of a body by processing data provided by an angular sensor (3). Data representing reacting force of a body tip is provided by a force sensor (4). Orientation of the force with respect to the medium plane is determined from the data. A vector tangential to path of the tip is obtained by projecting the force in the plane. The path is found by mathematical integration of the vector.
