PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal reaction force control device capable of using an accelerator pedal as a footrest while a vehicle is traveling at a constant speed and realizing the accelerating operation by a predetermined operation. SOLUTION: The pedal reaction force control device 10 draws an accelerator pedal 12 by a predetermined angle during the traveling at a constant speed in which the adaptive cruise control is set, and a retaining pin 40 is abutted on a depressing side of a pedal arm 36 to limit the operation to the returning direction (B direction) of the accelerator pedal 12. The retaining pin 40 slides in the transverse direction by turning on/off a solenoid 42 to retain the accelerator pedal 12 at the position of a footrest, or release the retaining. A control circuit 30 enables acceleration when the accelerator pedal 12 retained by the retaining pin 40 is turned by the depressing force not less than the predetermined value or at the speed not less than the predetermined value, or prohibits acceleration when the depressing force to the accelerator pedal 12 and turning speed of the accelerator pedal are below the predetermined values.
