PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press button device for a game machine, capable of securely transmitting the content of announcement to a player when an internal won hand is announced. SOLUTION: The press button device comprises a press button which sinks when pressed by the player, a shaft member with a plurality of projections on the peripheral surface, planted on the rear surface of the press button, a plurality of outer shell members disposed on the outer surface of the shaft member with guide grooves which are formed in the direction of sinking of the press button to be engaged with at least one projection for restraining a path of movement of the projection, and a fixing means for fixing any one of the plurality of outer shell members. The guide grooves of the plurality of outer shell members have different shapes, and therefore, the press button sinks in different modes when pressed by the player according to the outer shell members fixed by the fixing means because the paths of movement of the projections engaged with the guide grooves of the outer shell members fixed to the fixing means are restrained by the guide grooves.
