PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing float enabling sufficient winding of a main line even by increasing the length between the float and a hook, preventing the abrupt action of a large buoyant force on the float by the biting of a fish to a bait and facilitating a feeble action as well as strong action of fish. SOLUTION: The fishing float 3 is composed of a plurality of float members 6 slidably arranged on a main line 2 in a row and a plurality of small floats 7 slidably placed at the front position of the float row 6 on the main line 2. The small float 7 has a small spherical form developing a resisting force by the pulling action into water from the state floating on the water surface compared with the resisting force developed by the float member 6.
