<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium filter free of variation of the selected reflection wavelength even if the angle of incidence varies, preventing irregular reflection from the reflection film of an optical recording medium by information light and reference light, and capable of preventing noise, an optical recording medium, etc., using the optical recording medium filter enabling high-density recording. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium filer has a coloring material-containing layer containing at least one of a pigment or a dye. The forms that the coloring material is a red pigment, that the filter has a dielectric vapor deposition layer laminated with a plurality of dielectric thin films having different indices of refraction, and that the dielectric vapor deposition layer exists on the coloring material-containing layer are preferable. The optical recording medium comprises having a substrate, a recording layer recorded with information by using holography on the substrate, and a filter layer between the substrate and the recording layer, in which the filter layer has the coloring material-containing layer containing the coloring material of the at least either of the pigment and the dye. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
