<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly attain the gear change of a transmission even when the input/output of a capacitor device such as a secondary battery is limited. <P>SOLUTION: The torque change of a motor is requested for smoothly switching the status of the gear of a transmission interposed between a motor and a driving shaft (S170), and when the torque change is not available in the range of the input/output limits Win, Wout of a battery (S200), a torque instruction Tm1* of another motor is reset so as to be within the input/output limitation of the battery (S210, S250), and a request power Pe* is also changed so that the revolution Ne of an engine can be set so as to be the target revolution Ne* (S230, S270).
