<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a catalyst used in manufacturing methacrylic acid by gas phase contact-oxidizing methacrolein by molecular oxygen, in which a fluidity of dry matter obtained in the manufacturing process is excellent, and methacrylic acid can be manufactured in high yield. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the catalyst comprises (i) a process of preparing a slurry (a liquid) or a solution containing at least molybdenum, phosphorus, vanadium and urea, in which each element of molybdenum, phosphorus, and vanadium, and urea of 90 mol% or more are dispensed to the solution side, (ii) a process of producing a precipitation in the liquid in the conditions that the temperature of the a liquid is to be 60°C or more, should not go beyond 100°C in the period of 60°C or more, and the ammonium ion generation coefficient is to be 0.01-0.7 mol-NH<SB>4</SB><SP>+</SP>/(hr×L×mol-Mo) in the period of 60°C or more, to prepare a slurry (A liquid), and other processes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
