<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of failure from the viewpoint of the quality such as defective width and an edge seam detect of a material to be rolled by rapidly detecting the failure in the case twisting is generated on the material to be rolled when applying edging to the material to be rolled with a sizing press during hot rolling. <P>SOLUTION: By this abnormality detecting method, the detection of the abnormality of the sizing press is performed at positions in the thickness direction of the material to be rolled of the marks of a die for sizing presses which are left on the material to be rolled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
