<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a substrate having a color element film by which the high-quality substrate having the color element film can be easily produced with high production efficiency and to provide the substrate having the color element film, an electro-optical device and electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the substrate having the color element film comprises: a bank forming step of layering a first layer 13 and a second photo-setting layer 14 in this order on a supporting substrate 12, exposing and developing the supporting substrate and removing a part of each of the first layer 13 and the second layer 14 to use the unremoved parts of the first and second layers as banks 16; a liquid material applying step of applying a liquid material for forming the color element film to the section partitioned by the banks; and a color element film forming step of hardening or solidifying the liquid material applied to the section to form the color element film, wherein the first layer 13 is soluble in a developer and the second layer 14 is soluble in the developer and has the dissolution rate to the developer lower than that of the first layer 13, and the banks are formed by making the width of the unremoved part of the second layer 14 larger than that of the unremoved part of the first layer 13 by developing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
