PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous storage device capable of preventing reduction of throughput of the whole system when moving a content from the autonomous storage device on which an access load concentrates to another autonomous storage device, in an autonomous storage system.

SOLUTION: This autonomous storage device 2 has: a load state detection means 261a detecting a load state; a moving content setting means 261b setting the original content 30a made to be moved to the other autonomous storage device from a plurality of original contents 30a on the basis of the load state; and an access distribution means 27 distributing access to the original content 30a to the other autonomous storage device storing a reproduction content corresponding to the original content 30a. The autonomous storage device 2 moves the original content 30a to the other autonomous storage device during the distribution of the access.
